RULES
Tug of war(Corporate Vadam Vali Tournament – CVVL)
- Registration Fee: ₹999 per team
- Last date to register: August 22
- A maximum of 64 teams will be accepted in each category on a first-come, first-served basis
- Each team can have a maximum of 9 members (7 active + 2 substitutes)
- Only 7 players are allowed on the rope at a time
- Maximum team weight for Men: 520 KG
- Maximum team weight for Women: 450 KG
- A substitute’s weight must be at least 5 KG less than the player being replaced
- No restriction on the number of entries per company
- Event will be conducted under the guidance of the Ernakulam Tug of War Members Welfare Association
- Barefoot or boots are allowed
- Tarrangam style (Kulukk Vali) is not allowed
- Teams must follow fair play and safety rules at all times
- The judging committee’s decision is final and binding
Pookkalam
- Registration fee: : Rs 500
- The competition will start sharp at 8.30 AM and end at 11:30 AM. The total time allotted is 3 hours, which includes designing.
- The teams shall consist of maximum of seven members.
- Participants may bring their pookalam designs as Cutouts if needed
- There is no restriction on the number of entries per company. A company can participate with as many entries as it wants
- Participants can be in traditional attire.
- After finishing poookalm, Team can keep Nirapra, Nilavilak, and other traditional items
- The pookkalam should have an outer circular geometric pattern.
- The diameter of the Pookalam should not exceed 1.25 meters and should be within the allotted space.
- Only natural flowers and leaves are allowed. Artificial colors flowers and leaves should not be used
- Theme or concept-based designs are allowed.
- Permanent Markers and other things that could harm the floor are not permitted.
- The respective team is responsible for clearing the allotted space without any damage
- Tentative area for the competition will be all Inforpark Buildings
- Any selected person from the company can address the judges.
- A maximum of 70 registrations will be accepted on an FCFS basis.
- The last date to submit the registration form will be August 22.
- The decisions of the judging committee would be final and binding.
Procession with Techies Maveli
- Registration Fee: ₹100
- Venue: Vismaya – Infopark Square
- Participants can use props or accessories to convey their theme
- A company can submit multiple registrations (no limit)
- A maximum of 100 participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis

Techies Group Fashion Show
- Registration Fee: ₹500 per team
- Theme: Onam at 2050
- Last date to register: August 22
- A maximum of 10 teams will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis
- Each team must have 5 to 10 members
- Maximum stage time: 10 minutes per team, including setup and exit
- All background music or tracks must be submitted before the event
- There is no limit on the number of entries from a company
- Registration fee: : Rs 250
- Total performance time: less than 8 minutes including setup time.
- Karaoke, instruments, and Shruthi Box are allowed.
- The team can use properties to convey their theme.
- Maximum 10 participants in a team.
- Film songs are permitted.
- A company may have a maximum of two registrations.
- A maximum of 20 registrations will be accepted on an FCFS basis.
- The last date to submit the registration form will be August 22.
- Registration fee: : Rs 100
- First Round: Primary screening applies to the participants on a prior date
- The last date to submit the registration form will be August 22.
- 20 contestants(10 from each) will be shortlisted for the Main stage finale
- Shortlisted contestants will be announced through the Instagram handle of progressive.techies
- Final Round – Ramp Walk, Self-Introduction, Q&A
- Language: The competition will be conducted primarily in Malayalam
- All IT companies are welcome to participate.
- Every participant must carry their company ID or an HR-issued letter for verification.
- There’s no limit to the number of event entries from a company.
- No branding materials (ID cards, logos, etc.) are allowed on stage.
- A participant cannot be part of multiple teams in the same group event.
- Registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- All participants must register before the deadline. Late entries will not be accepted.
- No hazardous items (e.g., fire, sharp objects) are allowed on stage.
- Participants must arrange their own costumes, props, and instruments. Organizers are not responsible for personal items.
- Please report to the event venue at least 30 minutes before your scheduled time.
- Misconduct or violation of rules may lead to disqualification.
- Any form of religious, political, or offensive content is strictly prohibited.
- Participants must maintain discipline and treat coordinators, volunteers, and others with respect.
- Submit any pre-recorded music or tracks before the start of your event.
- Time limits must be strictly followed. Exceeding the limit will lead to disqualification.
- Each event has its own specific rules and judging criteria. Please review them in advance.
- Judges’ decisions are final and binding.
- The organizing committee may update rules or schedules if needed. All participants must follow any changes.
- The organizers may photograph or record the events for promotional purposes.
